Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Dave Hammond brings more than a decade’s worth of restaurant hospitality and management to Vermilion. Having begun his career early on bartending at a handful of Old Town’s most venerable restaurants to help pay for school, Dave’s since earned his rightful place among this town’s top restaurant directors for his affable demeanor, quick wit and consummate professionalism.

A Maryland native, Tony has served as Chef du Cuisine of Equinox in Washington D.C. and as Executive Chef of both Notti Bianche and Dish, also located in the District. Under his leadership, Vermilion has received 2.5 stars by the Washington Post along with a place among their annual Top 50 Area Restaurants in both 2007 and 2008. Washingtonian Magazine also named Vermilion among its top 100 restaurants in 2007 and 2008. |
